I wanted to have a unique helmet design for my Space marine
Chapter (as yet unnamed)
Here's what I have written so far....
I have just the slightest smidgen of an inkling of a background.
I envision them being one of the most recent foundings, almost a hastily created
chapter (due to some emergency needs of the Imperium, what ever that would best
be). They were taken so unseriously at first, that they were equipped with out
of date surplus equipment. Most notable in the supply stock was an experimental
helmet designed to have enhanced gas and light filters, intended for extremely
harsh environments. Unfortunately, the helmet was extremely uncomfortably, cutting
into the cheeks of the wearer's face, so it was never issued to the other 'proper'
chapters. They have since upgraded their equipment except for their helmets,
as a symbol of their humilty. Prolonged use of the helmets create vertical scars
on the face... a distinguishing mark of a chapter member. They have an undue
reputation of being an unofficial chapter, which insults them greatly. Ever
since then, they have been hell bent on earning respect from the other chapters,
pushing themselves to the furthest degree. This has pushed them to fanatacial
levels of devotion.
The army's primary color is Camo green, secondary is black, with accents of
bone and bronze/gold. Eyes are gold with a slight orange tint (like oakleys).
